got the scope out

noticed the cresent moon last night at work. got home this evening dragged the meade 254mm scope out to the carport had a good look at then showed my dad and brother. i was very happy to show my dad the moon he is getting on a bit now so it was good to get him involved in something a little different
had an issue with my understanding of how the focus and eyepieces worked last time the moon was about but now i'm sorted and its all good

Hi Leslie,

The crescent Moon is my favourite Moon phase, it's just so gorgeous isn't it, especially when there's earthshine on it. It's always a great feeling when we can get family out with us to enjoy looking up .
