I sent you a pm with an offer on your OTA only.
You answered via pm and said if I paid your price, which I agreed to do, the OTA was mine.
I asked for a phone number so we could make arrangments for me to inspect the OTA and purchase if it was okay.
Now you seem to be selling the OTA and mount together.

Could you please explain what is going on ???

This scope was sold on ebay a couple of weeks ago. How come it is still being pushed here?

I've reported this ad. There may be a valid reason for the continued listing, and we need to hear what it is.

Not sure what you're on about here mate? Its pending because there is an offer on the OTA. The so called ebay sale was an error and was reported as such to ebay weeks ago. Perhaps get your facts straight before jumping to conclusions. I'm sure you've only got the best intentions at heart here and I'm sure we all appreciate that in the forum.

To get the facts straight is all that we want, Owen. I'm not jumping to conclusions. I am acting on how the facts at hand present themselves. Everything pointed to a double sale. It would have been prudent to have mentioned the ebay 'error' here when it happened - a lot of IIS members also follow ebay too, which is why I called it out on what I've seen. It's small world, and an honest oversight can turn nasty quickly if not dealt with appropriately.

I have replied to a pm from Owen, and sent a text message to his mobile phone, asking him to ring me, so we can clear this matter up.
After recent events reported on this forum, we are all a bit nervous.

Because of my previous post, I felt obliged to let people know the outcome.
After talking to Owen yesterday on the phone, he convinced me he had overlooked my pm to him saying that I agreed to his price.
He then assured me he would sell the scope to me for his price which we both agreed upon.
Today I rang him and left messages twice on his voice mail to ring me, and I text him twice to ring me, but he did not return my calls.
I wanted to arrange to meet him , to pick up the scope, and pay him the money we both agreed on.
Now he has sent a text message saying he is reconsidering the sale to me, because he has been advised that he should not sell each item separately.
Owen did say he was sorry for wasting my time.
Unfortunately I cancelled an order for a new OTA, so that I could purchase Owens OTA, because he said it was as new, and only used twice.
I would have liked to talk to him about his concerns, and try to resolve the situation, but if people won`t talk to you ,then you cannot resolve any issues.
Well it is his choice, he is the seller.
