About this time of year, I get my first opportunity to give carina another shot.This year I had a chance to get it with a QHY8L.
There's 5x3 mins and 5x5 mins in the stack - but no darks offset bias or anything else. I only just got the camera and my skill with it has not allowed me the pleasure of using the darks.
Well actually I got a strange result so I left them out til I can get some more darks - the darks I used completely removed the nebula from the image, so I decided that until someone can tell me what I did wrong, I'll leave them waiting in the wings.
