S and T magazine cutting costs?

As soon as I saw S&T on the shelf I knew something was different.
It is smaller, 10mm narrower and 8 mm shorter. I imagine this was forced on them, maybe they're in trouble.

I thought that the Aus S&T was a copy of the USA S&T with Aussie ads in it instead.

I subscribe to the US version and nothing appears any different, Dec 15 was 74 pages, Jan 16 was 84 pages and Feb 16 is 76 pages long.

I have no idea why the Aussie version should be smaller.

Regards
Bill

The Aussie S&T always has been the same size as the U.S. one, but the
latest issue is smaller. I don't think it has fewer pages, just it's dimensions are reduced.

Oh! That explains why it slides easily into the acrylic display holder for A4 sheets (and indeed it has shrunk in size). I usually had to curl it up a little to stuff it into the holder... yay?

My wife hate S&T.... given she says my scopes are like mistresses taking my time away from her, her seeing me reading an issue of S&T must be like watching other guys reading hard core porn... not something a lot of wives like.

I can empathise with you, SWMBO hates my scopes and my hobby in general. I have to say that it has significantly affected my enjoyment
and imaging time.
