Thumbs down Idiots with laser pointers

I was just out watching the bright ISS pass, and some "friend of humanity" in a nearby street targeted a light aircraft with a laser pointer and followed it all the way across the sky! This is why we can't have nice things!

There is always an idiot in every crowd

Only a few evenings ago I am fairly sure I was flashed in the eyes by a Blue Laser whilst driving in the Adelaide Hills at dusk - some very intense blue flashes coming from a spot that really couldnt have been anything else. Luckily they didnt have chance to keep following me.
I was tempted to drive to the location it came from and make a fuss but didnt as I was already running late.
