Another Orion Neb photo

First one with the new camera (NIkon D750) I was still learning how to use the new autoguider stuff (ZWO scope and ASI120mm camera) so only a single frame, cant wait to start stacking with some more data.

Vixen VC200L ISO 800 3 Min exposure and a quick play in LR.

Good result Seymore. A 3 minute sub with my 8"f/5 and ISO 800 would
have resulted in a completely burnt out, unrecoverable, centre of the nebula. How did you avoid that happening?

No idea haha, I am completely knew to this, I am loving the learning there is so much more to it!! Even my 2 min ISO 12800 wasn't completly blown out (just too much noise for my liking) so I cant really help. I do get some flares on the edges which I think is some reflections from the internals of the camera.

Plus my Vixen is F9 so my 3 mins is only worth just over 1 min of yours for exposure (if I have that right)

Your calculation is about right. I find the core blown out 30 secs, but from
memory, I think I have generally used 1600, so that would be about right too.

Nice one . I particularly like the the subtle (arching) cloud effect you've achieved as your attention is drawn away from the core.

This was my first attempt at DSP using my Canon 700D and Celestron CPC 800 with maximum exposure of 38 seconds. Its ok but using the Alt Az setup and any longer than 40 seconds causes Star Trails. However I have learnt to take at least a photo of DS and also this Photo was enhanced a little in GIMP 2.8.
With a wedge I am sure I could get better pics with better exposure. Any thoughts?
BTW I Have Turned ORION NEB up the same way as Seymore has done. Mine is more wider angle FOV than Seymore's but I like Seymores as it is better enhanced.
