Don't panic, Houghy.

I organised a couple of subscriptions this very day. The lovely Canadian lass at the other end indicated that the mail subs left yesterday, so if you choose to live in Wallsend I suppose you will just have to put up with the vagaries that such a huge distance involves.

Perhaps not: I just realised that John mentioned S&T not AS&T. My comment relates to AS&T.

Nice going Mike.

Also, not sure if anyone has seen the October S&T. There a nice galaxy photo from a fave Mr. Strongmanmike.

Looks like IIS are reaching out. Good to see. World domination.

Hi,

The Nov/Dec issue of Australian Sky & Telescope will be in newsagents on Wednesday.

Subscriber copies were mailed on Wednesday this week (from Sydney), so they should appear around the country early next week.

I was amused to find that the September/October Sky & Space came out in our local newsagent today (18/10) on the same day that the November/December edition of Australian Sky & Telescope came out (18/10).

When is S&S going to sort out its production woes?

And while I am having a bit of a jab at our dear friend S&S, I had to laugh when I noticed that on the same double page (pages 8/9), it is proudly proclaimed that the magazie is "guaranteed to be 100% genuinely produced in Australia", and that the Copy Editor resides in the UK.....

I agree, Greg is an excellent choice, he just needs to find the time to come to Lostock in January for some dark skies R&R................(work on him Mike )

Thanks Stuart for that, I was chuffed when asked to write an article, and I didn't care who it was for, as Astronomy was the winner for my tack-less words of wisdom. Not finding wisdom in my words I then resorted to the dribble you see printed in the mag . I must fess up, I had to subject a few people to proof read it for me, I couldn't had got it together without their help . With star parties popping up everywhere it would seem that everyone has a story to tell, some more anectotal than others, but all good. This forum is the winner as far as I can tell, the characters met here made the jouney all that much better to duckadang. Dennis I still want a photo of you in that scope cover, just for memories ( if you think I have lost it your right but you had to be there )
