Ngc 1532

took a quick shot of NGC 1532 last night, RGB, 10 min subs 100:100:80. i have been fighting internal reflections and some light issues so it is not great but i thought i would post this as it is not a commonly imaged galaxy and it is really interesting. it is definitely a candidate for a future look.

Thanks for looking

Good catch Aidan, its a strange looking galaxy, the colours are great and I can't see any evidence of light reflections. Definitely worth a further look with those background galaxies present.

Thanks Bill

it is a really interesting example of galaxy interaction. i tried to crop out much of the issue, though you can see a tinge in the background. i might revisit this one at a later date.

I only just discovered NGC 1532 myself last new moon when we were out. I was noodling through Interstellarum. It's quite impressive in the 28, a new favourite now I think.

I am surprised that it is not images more, extremely interesting target and it is relatively big.
