Coming home pissed from the pub. I see Jupiter next to the moon. Thought about getting out the TOA. But fear the consequences of a wrong slip.

Happy New Year.

Couldn't help myself. After a night cap I got out the TV85 and 10 Delos for some nice framing of the moon and Jupiter. Just caught Europa leaving the edge of Jupiter and flying off into space. So far 2016 is going great.

After a big baked dinner with turkey and cranberry sauce and some fine Sauvignon Blanc, I spent some time watching Orion and the Pleiades till 2016.
So very peaceful this year as our neighbours have all gone away!

Happy new year everyone, hope it's a good 'un

Spent NYE in Bangkok and did a quick LP check counting number of stars I could see in the constellation of Orion whilst enjoying the local brew.

Who would have thought..7!

We would like to wish everyone here a very happy new year.

We have just returned home from visiting in Melbourne for a couple of days and look forward again to our dark sky.

As new starters in this game we are also hoping to do a lot more on this hobby this year (We acquired a 12" Dob at an unbelievable $180) so we are looking to do a lot more.

Andrew & Kim.
