Jupiter & Mars December 30th 2015

Hi everyone

Had some more luck with the weather this morning & managed a shot of both Jupiter & Mars.

Same setup. C14 @ 7500mm, ZWO ASI120MM, Astronomik filters + CS Photometric IR pass. About 1500 frames each of R G B & IR. Color image is RGB only.

Mars was a lucky shot as the sky was starting to 'boil' with sunrise & its only about 5.5" in diameter at the moment.

Cheers
Maurice

Cheers Phil.
Happy New Year.
Yeah, hopefully it will be busy for all the right reasons.

I've attached a Mars IR image from the same session.

Regards
Maurice
