Richardson Lucy on the Saturn nebula

Hi
After finding out how to run Richardson Lucy deconvolution in Iris, see
http://www.astrosurf.com/buil/iris/t...2/doc30_us.htm
I ran 10 iterations of RL2 on a cropped masked Saturn Nebula image I took a few months back. I resampled it to twice the size. definately brings out more detail, this RL function. Original image taken with the 10 inch scope and modded 350D

Hi Scott, thats a great looking image, the colours and the little twistys in the centre all look superb as well as the central star.
The deconvolution has really brought it out nicely. the Saturn Neb is definitely tricky as Eric mentioned and has been frustrating me for a few weeks now.

Top stuff
