Reminds me of my recent attempt on the Lagoon. I've just finished processing mine. I wasn't quite able to get the right colour palette, however it's looks like an actual lake/lagoon in my image I guess!

I'm using an unmodded Canon 600D on an 8 inch LX200, so very similar equipment. I'm using a wedge though, which helps a bit. I'm curious, why are you using 3sec sub lengths, as opposed to say, 30sec? The reason I ask is because you'll no doubt get field rotation, however you could probably crop it out. When I first attempted imaging using Alt-Az mode, without the wedge & autoguider, I was able to effectively crop most of my field rotation out due to the actual size of the image, particularly when using a focal reducer
