It's that time of the year again.
First clear-ish night after some major rebuilding in the OB, new PC, re-arranged mount configuration and even new carpet !! Also the spring cloud attack.
20 frames, of 20 secs JPEGS (!!) through the 1200D at F7 ISO1600 on the Lunt. I can't get DSS to stack RAW for some reason. Even so minimal processing in CS2, Levels and curves and reduced the red channel bit.
New PC and PHD2 just set itself up at 1 sec and found heaps of stars to play with. Only increased the box size to 30 to give it some search scope as it was using the ZWO at full resolution. Did some darks and it just worked like a dream.
Hi Jen, yeah, I've just pulled 3.3.4 in at work and I'll install this evening maybe ( Xmas do beforehand ). Seems to be working better here at work but what works on one PC doesnt always work on another.
If it's all just custard I'll just go full size jpegs and make pretty pictures, these were just the 'thumbnails'.
