I believe this High Powered Vacuum Tube was designed for Radio Frequencies. There is no evidence of prior use, there are no tell-tales, heat or otherwise of prior use.

valve

Hi, it's a half wave power rectifier from a transmitter.

Thanks for that! I believe it was to be used in a RF heater, so what you saying makes is logical.
