Tucanae 47 with 6" newt

Hi again everyone in the IIS world,...
This month for us on the mid north coast of N.S.W have not had a very good month for clear skies, so this means one thing...plenty of time to tinker and process.
This pic is from last month and consists of 1X60 sec, 6X120 sec, 4X200 sec at iso 800 with darks subtracted and using the 60 sec as a mask for the very core. All processed in PS.
I am quiet happy as to the sharpness of the image as the scale works out at 1.47 " per pixel and the smallest stars are about 2x2 pixels..
Don`t usually do globulars but I should do more!!!
Cheers Gary

Very nice Gary - whenever I go up anywhere near the mid-north coast (Dorrigo) it rains.... thankfully I have no more plans for those trips in the pipeline yet!

Gary,

Wonderful shot!

Though, something seems to have gone awry with your dark subtraction as there are a host blue hot pixels smattered throughout. They don't distract from the grandeur of the object at all, it was just something that caught my eye whilst ogling.

Regards,
Humayun
