The Dark Tower through Bert's lens in Ha

Finally got around to processing this from 2 nights back.
4x10 mins ISO 400, Bert's 300mm f2.8 lens, modded 350D, hand guided as usual.
Processed in Iris, only red channel used, then Photoshop and Noiseware.

All your HA shots are really great. I must get myself a HA filter to use when the Moon is up. That is the only reason I can really justify getting one. I just realized that even though you are recording effectively at 'one' wavelength with a HA filter (no CA) the quality of the lens still matters. Any astigmatism would still show up.
