orion widefield

surprisingly close to perth, mundaring in the perth hills and a half hour before moonrise this turned out pretty well!
canon 60da
samyang 35mm f1.4 @ f2.4(?)
skywatcher skytracker
10 90 sec
1 dark as camera stopped
bloody good dark skies considering 40 mins from perth

thanks guys, i will tell you what i zoomed into the corners of this image and the stars appear as round as the central bits!
i have not used the 35mm samyang in anger under a decent dark sky before so it is rather pleasing actually

yes raymo i have had the lens for a couple of years now and it did surprise me last night
ha ha jen
bo i have only ever seem the loop on "other peoples" pics so it is nice to see

must give credit to the little skytracker, it worked better than we imagined, literally just got a compass and poited it south ha ha!, probably fluked it!y s
