Aurora Aura

Re-processed some aurora photos from back in April with some new software and got some satisfying results
The yellow/white light on the right in the last one is a car coming into view about 2klm away right at the last second of a 30sec exposure.
The water is the Mersey River at Devonport, Tasmania. The orange glow is the town of Latrobe, Tasmania.

very nice, i like the subtle colours, were they much to look at visually?

Derek, it's one of the rewards for living in a colder, wetter climate, along with the fact that the whole state is virtually a dark sky site :-)
Brad these weren't very visual. I have seen the sky dancing in reds and whites however at other times.
These were 30sec at f4 ISO800 during a Kp4 event. If it goes over that to 5 then it gets visual.
