Xagyl filter wheel with INDI

After yet another PC failure, I've decided to move my setup from ASCOM/win7 over to INDI with a Raspberry Pi indiserver.

I understand that my SBIG ST10XE and CFW8 should be well supported, however I would like to use my 8 position Xagyl filter wheel if possible as it means I can load all filters (LRGB + narrowband) at once. Anyone know if the Xagyl filter wheel will work with INDI?

...or am I going to have to learn how to write a driver...

This page: http://indilib.org/devices/filter-wheels.html lists the supported filters.

I think you might need to learn how to write a filter driver...

Thanks Chris. I had already seen that, however I was hoping that by some fluke another driver might also provide support for the Xagyl wheel. In any case, it looks like the INDI core developer is now onto the case!

The xagyl filter wheel aside, i've been able to connect to all my other gear (SBIG ST10, NEQ6, arduino focuser and backup QHY5L-II guider) remotely using EKOS/KStars running on my inside PC and a indiserver running on a RPi 2B outside in the obs

I did see your post on the INDI forums, so that's great progress.

Looks like you've got a pretty good setup there. I've got to get back into my INDI set up soon - after I sort out some mount issues.

Is your QHY5L-II a colour version?
