Light weight alt-az mounts

Hi all,

I have two light weight alt-az mounts for sale.

These have a dovetail mounting block on the single arm tyne. The tension on the altitude bearing is adjustable. Height adjustable. Also come with an accessory tray that fits onto the spreader. The head is removable from the tripod too.

These mounts weigh in at 1.9kg each.

Asking for $50 each, pick up. Add post if needed.

SOLD

Thanks for looking.

Alex.

Thanks for your PM, Adam.

I've attached a couple of photos showing how a scope attaches to the mount via a dovetail plate attached to rings around a scope. The scope pictured is 80mm f/5 refractor. I've had a 100mm f/5 refractor on this mount, and I'd say that is as far as I'd load these mounts to. A smaller scope, in weight and size to the 80mm pictured, would be better suited.

The arm and mounting block are made from aluminium.

And no, the scope is not included...

The mounts are branded Tasco. These originally had a 114mm f/4.4 little tubby reflector on them. These mounts handled the 114 scope better than my 100mm refractor as they were about half the weight.
