Astrobin finally supports ICC colour profiles

http://www.astrobin.com/blog/2015/10...-icc-profiles/

At last it will be possible to assume that viewers with a colour managed browser and calibrated screen will see our pics as we intended them!

I checked an old image and it still has no profile though it did when it was originally uploaded, so this only applies to images uploaded from now on. I uploaded a new revision of the same image and now it has a profile.

Cheers,
Rick.

Other than firefox there is no proper colour managed browser. I hate it that it's 2015 and Chrome still ignore the display profile when rendering.

What makes you say that, Chris? Chrome appears to apply ICC Profiles when I use it. As evidence a test image looks correct in Chrome (http://petapixel.com/assets/uploads/2012/06/S2fzq.jpg) and newly uploaded images on Astrobin now look more accurate.

Cheers,
Rick.
