The SMC and the Nifty 50

The SMC is a great naked eye object if you can get to a dark site

Full Size. The Small Magellanic Cloud

This is 75 subs at 30 seconds with darks auto subtracted at ISO3200 using a Canon 60da with the blessed nifty 50. Mount was a teegul patrol II. Processing through PI.

I havnt nailed PA at the dark site so pixel peepers beware but viewing it widefield in this context to me personally is quite enjoyable.

Thanks for looking

Cheers gents, just a bit of fun under perfect skies to take away the frustration of 5/16 bolts being too short to secure the Ap900 to the Planet on my first "portable" imaging night. Grrr.
