Flocking PST

Anyone know if there is anything to gain from flocking the main tube on the pst? The objective screws off - it would be easy to place a cylinder of stiff flocking material inside the shiny gold tube.

I'm not familiar with flocking materials; any suggestions on what to use?

This morning I decided to try some black paper in th PST to see if it was worth doing a proper flocking job. After unscrewing the objective I was surprised to see a black inside surface of the tube. Before I sent it to Coronado for repairs the tube interior was gold. The black interior is still fairly reflective but I'll leave it alone at this point. (Coronado had previously given me the ok to remove the objective, in case you were wondering)

Some nice fine proms this morning, kind of like that fine mould that grows on a pot of leftovers that's been left in the fridge too long - very fine little tendrils.
