They' have a better aircraft if they did.

The SU-57 (previously known as the PAK FA T-50 when it was a prototype) lacks serious stealth. Basically it has, at a glance, an airframe shape and wing alignment/tail etc. that looks like it could be really stealthy, but it doesn't have all the features that contribute to very low RCS. But it will be better than previous generations of Russian aircraft.

The Indian airforce was looking to buy some (they had partnered during development) but pulled out on the basis it wasn't stealthy enough and didn't have the rest of the systems they wanted.
