Three of the Grus quartet

Here is a quickie (completed in one night) of the galaxy group NGC 7582, 7590 and 7599. Although it stayed clear the seeing wasn't the best. This will probably be the last 11002 picture for a while as the 6303 will be returning soon. I also need to do a bit of telescope and mount maintenance.

Cheers

Steve

Awesome work Steve!

Kinda feel sorry for the other quarter... does it ever actually get imaged?

Just stunning. Beautiful. Faultless "by the numbers" colour balance of both background and image as a whole. Huge haul of background galaxies.

Looks great, Steve! Doesn't seem much affected by the seeing. Still very crisp.

Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks Marcus. Problem is the background. I've been getting a lot of noise in the background and stretching more would show it up. Still don't know the cause of the problem yet, hence the upcoming maintenance.

Thanks Mike - that's high praise indeed
