Finally - saw the Northern Lights!

Happy to report that I was able to see a small display of the Northern Lights on my recent holiday in Alaska.

The sky was really cloudy so we did not see a great version of the shimmering light but what we could see was a wonderful and eerie sight to behold.

Would love to see them in full glory but this was a pleasant surprise and a nice bonus to a grand trip.

It's amazing, isn't it?

I was on the other side of this lake, last February: https://youtu.be/3TKTqxvndHo

Yes it is amazing. Did you take the video?

I can now understand how people can see them as spiritual and divine...I have been to Iceland several years ago but only during the summer so basically no night...would be great to see in full darkness.

Hi Scott,

No, I didn't take the video. I was there that night, on the other side of the lake.
