Typoon hits Taiwan and B747 gets lift

I cannot understand why one would park such an aircraft in harms way when this typoon is coming, but this fella shows the force of the wind as its nose wheels are lifted off the tarmac whilst parked.

Yes that is pretty wild. Aren't they worth USD$400 million?
There's also a pretty wild video of a tornado that came off that Typhoon that spins a small car around.

The video on the same page further down of the KLM B777 landing is far more interesting IMHO.

Holy moly Lewis, I did not scan down, that is some pretty skilful flying by the KLM pilot, he/they would have been working their butts off keeping that configured. I bet they were VERY seriously thinking about aborting that approach.
