Great image Scotty. Interesting that I think I like this version better than the NB. Not sure why apart from maybe the colours seem to compliment each other better????

I agree with you Rex. The "RGB" NB version is my favourite too.

Cheers mate!

Me three! Looks great Scotty! Good job on the star removal, that's pretty tedious.

Thanks Lee.

Have to admit. Wasn't difficult at all. Used Straton!

Nicely done Scott, and stars have been removed nicely without damaging surrounding nebulosity and thus without leaving "scars"...

Maybe one thing I could try is moving the black point - I think the background is too dark

Thanks good sir.
I purposely went for a dark background. Atmospheric and artistic and all that guff...

Maybe the RGB stars I am collecting over the next three nights will balance it out a tad...

Again, thanks very much

That's a nice starless eagle there with nice colour. Did you use Straton? I find starless images impossibly hard without using Straton.

Cheers

Thanks Andy. The exact mood I was aiming for.

Have redone the whole lot with full suite of calibration frames. And added some RGB stars from last night. Processing as we speak

Really like this Scott!

Different colour and to me has a 3D look.

Cheers,

Justin.
