First attempt ISS Solar Transit

ISS Solar Transit as viewed from Kingaroy, QLD 5 Aug 2015

Managed to capture this image of the ISS Solar Transit, very close to large sunspot. Unfortunately the ISS was 1015 klm from earth at point of transit. It does come within 450klm.
Was good just to capture it with the sunspot in the same image
Scope was Meade 8 inch LX90 and Cannon EOS 1000D

First attempt ISS Solar Transit

Thankyou Somnium,

Considering I was trying to capture something only 109 meters in length from a distance of 1050klm (brisbane to sydney) and transit time was only 1.1 seconds. I was very happy with that result from an 200mm SCT
