M1 Crab
One of the first data sets from the new ASA DDM85Premium mount on a bent equatorial pier. I didn't have the tracking sorted out completely at that stage.
Taken from Savannah Skies,
Telescope: 0.5Metre Classical Cassegrain with field flattener Mount: ASA DDM85Premium Camera: FLI PL16803 with FLI research grade filters. LRGB image acquired utilising CCDAutoPilot5 remotely. 10 minute subframes calibrated and stacked in CCDStack then processed in Photoshop and PixInsight.
I think I will go back and get data again on this one.
Thanks,
Tim

I don't know if its my settings but I can't get that to load. Do you have a direct link to the image?
Greg.

Excellent Tim! M1 is such a cool target. Impressive details you've so far collected. It certainly could do with more data to show the faint OIII shell. Also now that you've got your tracking addressed, I'm sure the stars would look much better. Looking forward to seeing the next version.

astounding object Tim and you have captured it in fine detail and colour.
Looking forward to the next iteration, but even as is, it looks really interesting.
