Quite a Blast!

Got delivery of our new Orion StarBlast 6" table-top Dob last week, and with a family BBQ on Saturday evening finally got to give it a proper try!
The moon was up, and presented a great target to align the red dot finder. The scope sits solidly on a fold-up "card' table for a comfortable height.
Great views of the Moon, Saturn, Jupiter a little fuzzy (but quite low in the sky), Graffias (nice double star), Jewellery Box.

Best value - sitting it on the ground and aiming at the Moon gave our 3 year old granddaughter a perfect change to really look through the telescope (a perfect height for her)! She kept looking through the eyepiece, then up at the moon, then back in the eyepiece with a real look of joy and wonder on her face!

Thanks again to the folks at Bintel for their help.
