Electricity

Got the weirdest letter from Energy Australia today. Electricity rates are going down. Approx. 4c/kWh. No mention of SAG though.

Yes, strange.
Daily Supply charge (previously called SAC) goes up 4.5c per day. (to 95.26c per day)
Peak rate drops 4.5c per hour (to 46.134c per hour - still too darn high)

5 years ago (when EA switched us to smart metering)
SAC was 52.8c per day
Peak rate was 40.26c per hour

*incl GST
