240v ac to 15V dc 1 amp Charger.

Does anyone know where I can get a 240v ac to 15v dc 1 amp charger for my power pack. Centre positive.
It is for a "Projecta" Jump Starter power pack" that I bought from Bunnings, they don't sell them separately.
Mine got lost somewhere during my hols.

Hi Mike

The Jaycar 2006 catalogue (paper copy) has a 12, 15, 18Vdc 800mA Regulated power supply with 2.1mm, 2.5mm connectors and a polarity selector switch that "can't be accidentally knocked or changed".

Price shown as $47.95. Cat no is MP-3034 on Page 207.

Cheers

Flipping the page, Page 208 shows a regulated laptop power supply with 7 selectable voltages:
15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22Vdc at 3.5A.

MP-3461 at $59.95 each. The 5A model costs $99.95.

Cheers

Thanks Dennis,
I will be going to Woolloongabba this week to pick up my marquee.
So I will visit Jaycar's after that.

Thanks Dennis.
I picked up a charger today from Jaycar.
They actually had a dedicated 15V 1.2a power supply.
It is working fine.
What a shop, that is the first time I have been there, I could have spent all my money, there is so many things that I want.

That's great news Mike, I'm glad you found what you wanted. And yes, it is a very nice place to browse, with so many goodies...

My wife dreads the day they start stocking telescopes and accessories.

Cheers

It's so good to have my power pack fully charged up again, with the clear skies back, it will get some use again.
