Quick one: will a Lodestar screw into the SBIG OAG 8300 without any need for adapter?

Thinking I need one

If the following thread is anything to go by...no...the lodestar is not a snug fit like the ST-i.

Thanks Hans - the solution looks elegant!

Not sure I really want to spend over $1000 on an OAG and it need to be fixed after getting it! Might opt for staying with mini guidescope afterall. At f/5, it's not a major problem.
