An in-browser simulation of the closest 100,000 stars

Check it out. A lot of them have info for each star. If navigating is too hard there is always the "tour" button.

Check it out.

i like these things, although it is hard to beat SpaceEngine, is there any way of getting it locked off the sun? i want to see where i'm going rather than heliocentric view of our closest 100,000.

Click on the name of a named star and you'll get there !

Amazing app!
Runs on Chrome or Opera smoothly on Android as well ! I have a Sony Xperia Z Ultra, so I assume it will work on all iPhones/iPads and modern high end Android smartphones / tablets.

Doen NOT run on Firefox on OSX.
