Saturn May 14th +63 anticyclone

Hi All,

Imaged Saturn May 14th in good seeing but the session was curtailed by the arrival of a considerable amount of cloud, sort of out of nowhere.

My 742nm IR data clearly resolves the approx +63 dark spot (anticyclone) that has been there since at least Jan 22nd.

Have attached a couple of animations that really do highlight the movement of the dark spot over 34 minutes of Saturn rotation.

Regards
Trevor

Excellent captures Trevor that dark spot appears long lived, it will be interesting to see it's progression during the current season
