Haven't had a crack at planetary for a long time.

I pulled the goto dob out while deep sky imaging. I thought I would give the video on the A7s a test run.

I had to use a 5x powermate and a 2x barlow to bring the image scale up due to the a7s having a full frame sensor.

these were captured at 100fps. probably equal in quality to what I've achieved on the old 600d but I've never got the knack of planetary processing.

I also have a feeling that there is some extra noise introduced while the memory card was buffering, the card I think is rated to 45mb/s and I think the a7s records at 50mb/s.

PIPP to crop and centre (and convert video format!), registax 6, astra image and cs6. the widefield was about the standard size off the camera but was reinvented in photoshop.
