Double star measurements

What is the easiest method to calculate the position and separation angles for observing double stars through an equatorial telescope/camera?

I have found a few different methods, but was wondering if anybody had an easy and relatively accurate method?

an EQ mount with tracking (can also use an Alt azimuth mount)
a laser etched astro-metric eyepiece
a good stop watch that measures down to about 1/100th of a second
a warm coat, and a glass of Zacapa XO rum

I have done some double star measures in the past, and used a freeware tool called Reduc. It is very fast to give excellent results. Lots of tools and easy to learn basic functions.

It is mentioned all over JDSO (Journal of Double Star Observers).
