M31 & m45

A few from last year at Kilkivan (26deg S). Finally got around to having a crack at a couple of targets.
Adding stacks for each exposure (4 of) (after alignment with PT Gui) and stretching with fitswork. PS for the rest using luminousity masks to grade levels of NR and other basic processes while trying to preserve integrity of stars. Still haven't got it fully right yet. More data may help - esp for darker areas. Also, there seems to be rotational vibration with the mirror slap or shutter in the system, even with mirror lockup with 2s delay (evident in the stars on the right hand side of Andromeda).
Canon 6D (full spectrum modified) with 70-200 f2.8L II lens + 2x teleconverter at 400mm.
4x240s + 14x120s + 8x30s + 4x8s, ISO3200, f5.6
Stars tracked with an Astrotrac (no guiding). Yes did manage 4min at 400mm with astrotrac - that is pushing it! It was the best polar alignment I have achieved with the set-up.
Similar sets of data for both of these.

That's impressive with for a very small mount and DSLR/lens, Troy.
