MotoGP

MotoGP came to town last weekend. Weather was horrible cloudy and some rain most of the weekend. First time to shoot some motorsports with the 7D2. Awesome camera. Better in every way than the 7D1. The gallery is here www.pbase.com/griz11/motogp2015

Enjoy

Not sure

The laptime was around 2 min 2:02 something like that. Its a beautiful circuit. I won a pair of VIP tickets for the Le Mans race coming up. Last year's Spirit of Le Mans contest. 1st runner up. I have a scooter now so I can get to a lot more places then when I was on foot. Rigged up a gimbal on a monopod that way I can sit down and shoot. The seat on the scooter swivels. So I save my leg time for the stuff that I can't get too with the scooter and shoot the rest sitting down. A bit more difficult to pan as you can't turn as far but I've gotten used to it now. They had a 1 day sale on a package of GA tickets for all the races this year for 225. About 40 bucks a race. Can't beat that. I have a lot of fun with it but mostly I shoot the local r/c tracks. The kids love to see their cars on the website.
