I'm calling this event a "Rick"

With Easter well behind us and camping equipment finally dried out, I'm wondering if todays weather event in Brisbane has anything to do with a recent purchase?

You must mean one of the other Ricks, I assume Peter? I'm willing to cop the blame for any rain from Monday onwards when the camera adapter should arrive

Cheers,
Rick.

Bah. Any decent astrophotographer knows we're done for now for the rest of this year. How could you bring so many inches of AP goodness this close to Brisbane dammit Rick!

And to think I left the mount out on the pier last Sunday night
Talk about optimism....

My mount is optimistically still outside...3 tarps on it, 1 waterproof sleeping bag....

I have movies of deep foam across the roads at Alexandra Headlands this afternoon. 3pm and it was dusk here...

It's not just Rick - it's Greg injecting his UBER AP mysticism into the AP140 packages to Rick.

The acid test will be next new moon weekend when I hope to be ready for some RGB imaging with the AP140. Make sure your flood insurance is up to date
