It's with sadness that I offer my Carbon Fibre GSO RC8 + Moonlite focuser for sale. Only reason for selling is that my typical seeing doesn't support the 0.74"/px resolution I get when combined with my Atik 314L+ so, sadly, this scope is wasted on me.
The RC8 is an older model -- plate solving indicates this is actually 1797mm long, making it an F/9 rather than the 1600 F/8 model available today. It also comes with a vixen dovetail.
The scope will come with an orange (they refer to it as "gold" I believe) Moonlite focuser; I got the tri-knob with shaft lock upgraded version, which is great for locking focus without shifting it. I paid $427US for the focuser (including shipping) a few months ago so with current exchange rates that makes it about $550AUD to land.
I'd prefer a local buyer, but may freight at buyer's expense if I don't get any local interest.
I'm after $750 for the lot. Andrews sells the current version of the scope for $1149, so this represents a saving of about $949 off retail making this less than half retail prices.

Ok, I need to move this along to finance other things, thus the massive price reduction. This is significantly less than half the brand new price for a great piece of kit.
