Taken from 37,000 feet. Re: the weather, the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITZ) moves north and south
with the seasons, hence it is pretty clear this time of year at that latitude.
BTW, you can see an inversion layer quite clearly hovering over the city
The track overhead Manila was a little unusual..normally more westerly, but can and does vary with the upper level winds on the day.
