Little Austinmer Nightscape

It's been a while since I've been out to do some nightscapes so I headed down to Austinmer to give it a go. Have always wanted to take pictures of the rising milky way but from western sydney there is too much light pollution looking east. Bit of light pollution around but images came out OK considering. All foreground lighting was from the streets/surrounding houses. Wollongong is to the right of the pictures.
2 images, ones a bit blue (taken earlier in the night) and the other taken maybe 45 minutes later.
Images are panoramas of about 4 or 5 pics. Shot landscape format panned vertically.
shot on Canon 70d with Tokina 11-16 at 2.8 iso 3200. stitched in photoshop.

thanks for looking.

Nice Michael,

I like them both but the first is the favorite! The milky water gives the image a nice effect.

What were the exposure lengths?

Great work.

Thanks Paul,
I see you're a little more local to the area.
Exposures were 20 seconds for the sky, but for the frames with the foreground it was 30 seconds.

Michael.
