ngc 6188

exp times are 5x10 min for each RGB filter & 5x10 min HA blended 80%. equipment -qhy9 gso rc8 with reducer ccd67-paramount mx+ mount. condition wasn't great.... windy + 57% moon but has came out ok ish.thanks for looking

Hi, Shane, that's very interesting. I've photographed the brightest part of the shock front, but had little idea of the wider field. You've shown that there's a huge glowing elliptical or peanut shaped cloud with quite distinct margins occupying much of the image, centred on the bright cluster.

Nice.

(Had a look at your web site. Your non-astro-photos are superb!)
