The Eta Saga continues...
What do you do with a full moon and rare clear skies?
Eta-Carina of course!
The original is a 9000 pixel wide 8 panel mosaic...decidedly web-unfriendly, so...
Here's one for those with 4K monitors....

Politically?
Incidentally, on a serious note....
when you put forward the idea of doing a group buy on 1.5nnm filters, can you recall the specs, number of units in a production run, price point etc?
regards,
c.

Left? Me? ..well a little... I still thank Gough for my education.
From memory they worked out at about $US 900 ea (in 2") i.e similar price to NB Astrodons, but with half the bandwidth again.
The response was underwhelming to say the least....

Can you recall the manufacturer.... was it Alluxa?
They seem to be doing some pretty impressive filters - down to 0.5nm bandwidth with square transmission profiles.

Just had a search through my old email, while didn't find the correspondence, I'm fairly sure it was Alluxa.
P.S. found it. It was them $US895 a piece for <2nm, min batch of 10x 50mm
