Experiments with optics

I was trying to match the Celestron 0.63reducer with the FLT132 ..
This combo suppose to reduce the FLT’s F7 to F4.4 and make it 583mm scope. And guess what: it DID!!!
Although guiding was an issue yesterday, here is a single 900s Ha (just stretched) frame of wide NGC3293+NGC3324.

Fascinating, so was it easy to attach and what's that arc on the top right?
Cheers

Nice work, Ian.

You've solved one mystery for us: what lies beyond the faint nebulosity behind the gem cluster (below left of centre). You've shown both how it interconnects with the Gabriela Mistral nebula, and how it overlaps a huge ring-shape at the bottom left of your image. (I'm guessing that the superposition of the gem cluster is just a line-of-sight thing.) So now, we know. Thank you.

I utilized EOS camera adaptor and “forced” it on the fine thread of the reducer locking it with those 3 tiny grubscrews … it’s rather not elegant but does the job …
