Wanted: formula for calculating counterweight and balance points.

A long time ago someone posted a link to a webpage for calculating counterweight requirements and balance points for eq mounts. Search as I might I can not find the thread that refers to the webpage. Does anyone remember where that webpage was (stored in favourites perhaps) or remembers who posted the information?
