N44 and NGC 1949
This image is an illustration of why the STXL-11002 is poor performer for imaging using narrowband filters.
I could have used half the imaging time with a ST-X10ME but alas the ST-10XME has a limited FOV.
9 hrs Ha + 4 hrs OIII for luminance, 1 hr each for R,G and B filters.
BRC-250 scope.
Higher resolution.

A very effective way of combining NB and RGB. Looks great, Steven!

Great shot. Out of all the previous renditions, this would have to be my favorite. Maybe the wider field. But the colors are gorgeous. Great dynamic range too and nice star colors.

Thanks Shane.
Not sure if I can make it any sharper without introducing excessive noise.
N44 is quite faint.
