NGC 3109 with a bit more data

I managed to get a bit more data on NGC 3109 last night and I think the image is somewhat improved. The colour is better anyway - the last version was very weak in blue. I also rotated it 90 degrees as I think it looks better that way.

Cheers

Steve

An even greater looking photo Steve.

I love the colours and there is so much detail.

However, I still prefer the horizontal composition.

Ross.

Thanks Ross. Someone complained about the composition which is why I changed it.

Oi, I didn't complain about it just thought it may have been worth rotating the camera to have the galaxy fit the field lengthwise, that's all still looks ok and the colour in this latest rendition looks good

Sorry Mike - poor choice of words on my part. It would certainly have been nicer to present it diagonally across the frame but there didn't seem to be any suitable guide stars although I didn't look very hard. Perhaps I'll re-shoot it in this orientation when the moon goes away.
